⚠ Report a calculation error This is the most valuable message you can send. Tell us the tool, the figures you entered, the result you got, and the result you expected. We investigate every report and correct genuine errors.

📘 Question our methodology Ask which section of the Income Tax Act a rule comes from, or why we treat a limit the way we do. We will point you to the source.

💡 Suggest a tool If you keep opening a spreadsheet to work something out, tell us. Several of our calculators exist because a reader asked.

🔄 Flag an outdated rule Tax rules change with each Budget. If you spot a slab, limit or rate we have not updated, we want to know quickly.

What to expect

Response time Within 3 working days for genuine queries. Error reports are prioritised and usually answered sooner.

Corrections If you report a genuine calculation error, we fix the tool and update the "last reviewed" date on that page. We will tell you when the fix is live.

Languages Write to us in English or Hindi. Both are read.

What we cannot help with

FinKit builds calculators. We are not financial advisers, chartered accountants, or tax practitioners, and we are not registered with SEBI or any regulator to give advice.

That means we cannot tell you which investment to choose, whether to opt for the old or new tax regime in your specific situation, how to file your return, or what to do about a notice from the Income Tax Department. For those, please speak to a qualified professional. Our disclaimer sets this out in full.

We also cannot access, recover, or delete anything you entered into a calculator — because we never received it. Every calculation runs entirely inside your browser and nothing is transmitted to us.
